Job Description

Position Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and detailoriented Fire Protection Inside Sales Representative to join our team. This role is responsible for supporting the sales process assisting customers and providing technical knowledge about fire protection systems and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service in the fire protection industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone email and other channels providing information about fire protection products and services.
  • Prepare and deliver accurate quotes proposals and estimates based on customer requirements and project specifications.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Collaborate with the outside sales team to identify customer needs and offer appropriate solutions.
  • Process orders efficiently ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of products and services.
  • Maintain uptodate knowledge of fire protection systems codes and regulations to provide expert guidance to customers.
  • Track and follow up on leads to drive sales and achieve revenue goals.
  • Maintain records of customer interactions transactions and sales activities in CRM systems.
  • Assist with resolving customer issues and escalate complex problems as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; an associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
  • 2 years of inside sales or customer service experience preferably in the fire protection construction or related industry.
  • Knowledge of fire protection systems and NFPA codes is a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook) and CRM software.
  • Excellent organizational and timemanagement skills.
  • Selfmotivated with a proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in a technical sales environment.
  • Familiarity with fire suppression systems sprinklers and alarms.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
