Job Description
Reporting to Practices Head Platform the Service Delivery Engineer will be responsible for managing service level agreements by ensuring that all services are delivered according to contractual commitments. The incumbent will be working closely with the clients and know how to manage client s relationships to achieve the best results.
Application of extensive programming skills in real client s implementation or engineering projects to develop innovative solutions or customer enhancement.
Implementation and administration of operating systems such as Windows and Linux
Virtualization implementation and administration encompassing platforms such as VMware HyperV and RHEV
Overseeing the design and maintenance of database architectures as well as handling basic administration tasks for Oracle MSSQL and Postgres databases
Implementation and administration of servers storage and SAN switches with proficiency across HPE Dell and Lenovo platforms
Ensure smooth daily Information Technology (IT) operations and meet the agreed upon Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) target.
Monitor the service delivery from Computech premises and perform any support needed by the end users.
Contributing to all stages of project or service implementation and coordinating with the development team to provide deliverables on schedule and to a high quality.
Balancing stakeholder needs usability performance platform capabilities budget and time
Deliver onsite & remote services to provide technical or application expert knowledge.
Perform root cause analysis on platform application & infrastructure for performance and stability issues and provide recommendations to optimize.
Requirements
Bachelor s degree in engineering (Electronica Electrical Mechatronics IT Hardware Telecommunication Computer Science) or related field
Good sense of East African Market
Bachelors Degree in an Engineering course (Electronics, Electrical, IT Hardware, Mechatronics, Tele-communication)
