Job Description
Oaks Melbourne on Market Hotel is seeking a fulltime Chef de Partie to take responsibility for assisting in the daily kitchen operations. Oak & Vine is building an accomplished exceptional and talented restaurant team.
EXPERIENCE / DUTIES
- Producing high quality meals for our patrons
- Assisting in creating menu items recipes and developing dishes
- Supporting the Head Chef in daytoday operations of the kitchen
- Demonstrate high standards of food production and presentation
- The ability to work smoothly under pressure and remain calm in a busy work environment
- Enjoy working with a team environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Reliable punctual and trustworthy
- Motivated and passionate about creating great quality food for our guests
- Supervising training and mentoring kitchen staff
- Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
Qualifications :
- Relevant cookery qualifications (Minimum Cert III Commercial Cookery)
- A minimum of two years experience in a busy hotel or restaurant environment
- Experienced in Banquet style cooking
- Demonstrated experience working without supervision in a busy environment
- Have a passion and pride in your abilities and the hospitality industry
