Job Description

Main Purpose:

  • Take responsibility for endtoend service delivery.
  • Ensure that client objectives are met through the delivery of an effective cost management service.
  • Handle commissions of varying sizes depending upon the complexity of the project.

Key Responsibilities:

    Estimation and cost planning to include producing and presenting the final cost plan.

    Deal effectively with post contract cost variances and the change control processes where applicable referring major changes to line manager.

    Take personal responsibility for making cost checks and carrying out valuations and in all cases ensure that timely and accurate cost checking and valuation takes place.

    Produce monthly cost reports and present them to the client.

    Inputting into value engineering.

    Negotiating and agreeing final accounts.

    Interface with the client and other consultants at all project stages.

    Where appropriate lead cost management team ensure that they deliver on all of the above accountabilities.

    Get involved in the complete lifecycle of the project.

    Thorough knowledge on Electrical HVAC fire alarm systems plumbing & fire fighting.

    Review MEP specifications interpret contracts and participate in technical & commercial negotiations with vendors.

    Coordinate onsite MEP construction activities.

    Coordinate all electromechanical activities with client consultant suppliers site engineers & various subcontractors at site. Checking and preparing VO negotiation with Subcon and Client.

    Develop good relationships with clients and members of the crossfunctional team.

    Lead cost management team.

Qualifications :

  • Education Diploma/B.E/B.Tech (Electrical/Mechanical)
  •  1015 years of work experience with demonstrated career growth graph.
  •  Sound knowledge and experience of cost management.
  •  Excellent verbal and written English communication skills along with presentation skills and the capability to relate and communicate with people from a variety of diverse backgrounds at all levels of the industry.
  •  Understand total project life cycle from project conception stage to completion and handing over.
