Job Description

The Job Mission
As a Senior Electrical Commissioning Engineer you will develop and deliver critical commissioning deliverables for operational control systems and electrical systems within Hinkley Point C. Your future team will rely on your technical expertise to ensure project milestones are achieved efficiently. Your key missions will include:
Developing and reviewing commissioning deliverables including test procedures and validation reports.
Producing documents like Platform Test Procedures (PTP) System Commissioning Programmes (SCP) and Sufficiency Analysis Notes (SAN).
Assessing test results and ensuring compliance with engineering standards and project requirements.
Supporting I&C function tests at the test bay in France.
Liaising with stakeholders to confirm data maturity and track upcoming changes.
Proposing and coordinating fitforpurpose solutions to complex technical issues.
Collaborating across multiple engineering disciplines including I&C mechanical fluid and HVAC.
Reporting progress against time schedules and budgets while identifying and mitigating risks.


Qualifications :

Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 10 years of experience in power generation or process industries with strict regulatory requirements.
Experience in drafting mechanical and monitoring equipment testing guidelines and procedures.
Functional knowledge of key electrical systems including:
       220V DC and 24h Uninterruptible Power Supply Systems.
       10kV and 690V Power Supply Systems (Normal and Emergency).
       400V Regulated and Emergency Power Supply Systems.
Familiarity with I&C logic diagrams and ability to interpret them effectively.
Ability to produce highquality technical documentation including test procedures and substantiation files.
Strong coordination skills to manage multidisciplinary engineering tasks.
