Job Description
CK Group are recruiting for a Senior Electrical Engineer, to join a multinational, multi-industry company, on a contract basis for 6 months.
Salary:
PAYE £459.77 per day or Umbrella £601.62 per day.

Remote role, ad-hoc site attendance required.

Senior Electrical Engineer Role:
- To design, check and approve P&C schemes in accordance with established standards such as ISO 9001, TPs, NGTs, ESIs, BS, IEC Standards etc.
- Engineering development: Ensuring that engineering is developed with complete information and/or that all multidisciplinary information has been included.
- Leading development of new solutions for complex projects and challenges.
- Enable effective project delivery by assisting with preparation of Design Intent Documents, Tech Specs for Plant and P&C equipment, Schematic Diagrams, LVAC & battery sizing, cable sizing & settings, Approving WDs, cable schedules, core sheets etc.
- Driving completion of all engineering activities on the project.
- On a BIM project assume the role of 'Task Information Manager/ Task Team Interface Manager'.
- Coordinating engineering discipline across several projects.
Your Background:
- Electrical Supply industry experience.
- Minimum qualification of HNC/HND in the related engineering field and 5 years of applicable experience or minimum of 9 years' equivalent experience without HNC/HND.
- Knowledge of Transmission or Distribution practices (400 kV to 11kV).
- Understanding/ Knowledge of Distribution Network Operator/ National Grid etc.
- Experience in preparing complete project documents in area of responsibility.
- Experience with the activities associated with project engineering include discipline engineering and design; planning, risk assessments; coordination of resources (personnel and equipment).
