Job Description
Job Title: SelfEmployed Plumbing & Heating Engineer
Salary: 200 per day (depending on experience)
Location: Bury St Edmunds Suffolk

About the Role
As a selfemployed Plumbing & Heating Engineer youll play a crucial role in the installation and servicing of cuttingedge heat pumps for domestic and commercial clients. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to work within the growing renewable energy sector offering a mix of handson work and the chance to mentor and collaborate with an apprentice.
You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of heat pump systems offering both installation and servicing and contributing to the overall success of the team. Working Hours
This is a fulltime selfemployed position Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. There may also be opportunities for overtime depending on project requirements.
Key Duties
- Install and service heat pump systems for both residential and commercial clients.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for existing systems.
- Work alongside an apprentice offering guidance and mentoring to support their growth and development.
- Maintain the highest standards of health and safety as well as the companys customer service protocols.
- Ensure all work is completed within agreed timeframes and budgets.
Key Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years experience in plumbing and heating with specific experience in renewable energy systems.
- Qualified with relevant plumbing and heating certifications.
- A full driving license.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills with a customerfirst attitude.
- Strong troubleshooting and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to mentor and work alongside an apprentice.
- Selfmotivated and driven to deliver highquality results.
