Job Description
Title:Employment Litigation Associate
Department::Employment Litigation Associate (ELA)
Role Type: Fulltime
Location: Austin TX
Customer Name: Fortune 500 client.
Our Austin office is excited to welcome qualified applicants with at least 35 years of experience in managementside employment litigation and counseling in our Employment & Trade Secrets group. As an associate in our group you will advise cuttingedge clients ranging from earlystage startups to Fortune 500 companies in the technology life science green energy and cleantech space including:
-
Interfacing directly with clients to provide missioncritical advice on all aspects of employment law including hiring leaves of absence internal investigations terminations trade secret protection restrictive covenants and various employee mobility issues;

Drafting and reviewing employment policies executive agreements separation agreements and other key employment documents;
-
Advocating for clients in employmentrelated disputes before state and federal courts administrative agencies and arbitral panels;

Working with and assisting other team members on multijurisdictional disputes and matters; and
-
Assisting and advising on various employmentrelated matters in mergers and acquisitions public offerings and other corporate transactions gaining valuable crossdisciplinary experience.
Superior academic credentials and excellent verbal written and interpersonal skills required.
