Job Title: Ethics and Financial Program Analyst
Location: Bethesda MD
Schedule: FullTime (3040 hours per week)
Job Summary
We are seeking a meticulous and detailoriented Ethics and Financial Program Analyst to join our team. In this role you will support the review and analysis of financial disclosure reports and related ethics actions. You will play a critical role in ensuring adherence to ethical conduct standards policies and laws.
This position requires exceptional analytical skills attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have experience working with compliance programs and a strong foundation in business or finance.
Responsibilities
- Financial Disclosure Review & Compliance:
- Review financial disclosure reports and other ethics requests for compliance with governing statutes and regulations.
- Conduct firstlevel technical and conflict reviews of ethics documents and requests.
- Analyze potential conflicts of interest and recommend appropriate resolutions.
- Ensure submissions are complete and accurate adhering to required timelines.
- Program Support & Documentation:
- Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) policies and job aids for ethics program implementation.
- Assist in maintaining and updating the Ethics Management Information System (EMIS) and NIH Enterprise Ethics System (NEES).
- Draft and maintain presentation and training materials for ethics education.
- Organize and maintain shared drives resources templates and final documentation.
- Prepare reports and conduct analyses on ethicsrelated considerations.
- Communication & Training:
- Communicate with employees regarding ethics information questions and issues.
- Schedule and facilitate ethics training sessions and ensure timely dissemination of new or revised guidelines.
- Provide assistance and guidance to staff on compliance requirements policies and procedures.
- Administrative & Technical Support:
- Manage and track the flow of documents submitted for ethics review using various tracking systems.
- Maintain accurate records of communications with employees and office staff.
- Assist with the review and update of ethics databases websites and filing systems.
- Support preparation for audits including updating files and completing preaudit questionnaires.
Qualifications
- Education: Associates degree or equivalent (required).
- Experience & Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Proficient written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct research and manage financial or compliancerelated tasks.
- Experience working with compliance programs or ethicsrelated tasks is a plus.
- Software Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (required).
- Field of Study: General Business or a related field.
