The Clinical Services Manager is responsible for ensuring the delivery of safe efficient patientcentered care and will ensure the program goals and objectives are met and are aligned with the corporate strategic plan.
Working in close collaboration with the program and medical leadership the successful candidate will provide exceptional leadership to Childrens Services within the Womens and Childrens program. This position oversees the management of an interprofessional team focused on enhancing the patient experience; supports the daytoday operations of the outpatient services; provides leadership to enable application of best practices; effectively communicates and leads processes in delivering safe care; leads ethicallybased patient inspired and cost effective services using an evidenceinformed approach and involving appropriate stakeholders. In addition this role contributes to the operational effectiveness of acute care services for Paediatrics and NICU in planning coordinating implementing and evaluating innovative models of care working in the development of the Womens and Childrens programs across the continuum of care and coordinating care with community partners.
Accountabilities:
- Develops and implements the functional and strategic plans and/or initiatives for relevant areas in consultation/collaboration with the Director physician partners and team members
- Defines the organizational supports and structures required for relevant areas in consultation/collaboration with the Director
- Monitors patient/family and staff satisfaction programs in relevant areas and organizes improvement opportunities as appropriate
- Fosters an engaged workforce seeking opportunities for improvement staff development and support
- Promotes a collaborative and respectful professional practice climate and fosters an interdisciplinary approach to safe patient care and patient/family experience
- Hires orients and manages staff performance as determined by human resource policies union contracts legislation and standards of practice
- Develops monitors controls and evaluates budgets and staffing plans in consultation and collaboration with the Director and organizational partners
- Consistently monitors performance taking corrective action if and when required
- Develops processes for selecting evaluating and maintaining material/equipment needed for delivering and enhancing patient care
- Develops and maintains effective interdepartmental relationships and participates in activities which contribute to the effective function of the relevant areas the program and the organization
Qualifications :
- Health Discipline Professional designation and Undergraduate degree required; relevant Masters an asset
- Minimum of five years recent Leadership experience and clinical experience in womens and childrens services
- Demonstrated ability to establish effective interpersonal relationships and collaboration with interprofessional teams and external regional partners
- Demonstrated effective communication team building problem solving and conflict resolution skills
- Demonstrated effective judgment and innovative change management skills
- Demonstrated effective planning and project management skills
- Demonstrated ability to utilize quality safety and riskbased frameworks to facilitate and build the use of critical thinking priority setting and problemsolving skills across the team
- Knowledge of collective agreements and working experience in a unionized environment preferred
- Excellent written verbal communication and documentation skills
- Detail oriented with excellent organization and time management skills
- Effective leadership skills with the proven ability to develop high performing teams
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fastpaced environment
- Excellent problem solving and change management skills
- Excellent oral interpersonal and written communication skills
- Ability to travel between Osler sites

Hours: Currently days 8 hours shifts including weekends and statutory holidays (subject to change in accordance with operational requirements)
Annual Salary:
Minimum: $113061.00
Maximum: $141336.00
