How Youll Make an Impact:
- Oversee and manage daytoday site operations including the coordination of vendors responsible for maintaining office services and facilities.
- Lead mentor and develop a team of employees across various roles
- Manage office services including phone systems setup and troubleshooting office security (24/7) access control (cards and lockers) paper shredding mail service shipping/receiving and retrieval of offsite documents.
- Oversee all aspects of office/desk/floor moves ensuring minimal disruption to operations and manage new furniture purchases and cleaning/environmental services.
- Oversee facilities maintenance and repairs (both soft and hard FM) including HVAC plumbing fire sprinkler systems and safety equipment maintenance.
- Conduct daily safety walkthroughs to ensure workplace safety and compliance.
- Assist with managing client events providing audiovisual services and supporting other operational needs related to client events.
- Maintain safety standards by completing reports for the Joint Health & Safety Committee and ensuring that IMS systems are up to date with completed safety courses and maintenance documents.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships including preparing and delivering monthly KPI reports processing client and vendor invoices and working with employees to support the achievement of financial goals.
Qualifications :
What Youll Need to Succeed:
- Postsecondary education in a related field
- 2 years of experience in an office environment managing various services
- Minimum 1 year experience in a supervisory or management role
- Vendor management experience
- Facilities Management Certificate (FMC) is preferred
- Familiarity with CMMS/Maximo and project management tools is an asset
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to influence and communicate effectively with decisionmakers
