Your missions:
The Lead Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that engineering standards are met and guiding team members through complex challenges. By mentoring junior engineers coordinating with crossfunctional teams and contributing to strategic planning you will help elevate the teams capabilities and directly impact the successful execution of our projects. As Lead Mechanical Engineer you will:
Lead and guide a dynamic team shaping the success of projects related to the design of mechanical services within a nuclearlicensed site.
Drive innovation in piped services design exploring and implementing new technologies and methodologies to enhance efficiency safety and overall project success.
Act as a key point of contact for clients fostering and maintaining strong relationships and represent the organisation in a clientfacing capacity contributing to its reputation for excellence in service delivery.
Ensure adherence to stringent regulatory requirements within the nuclear industry demonstrating a keen understanding of safety standards and compliance.

Qualifications :
Qualifications/Skills to be successful:
We are seeking somebody with strong leadership skills who will act with integrity and instil this value in others. You must focus on delivering quality on time and within budget and have an appreciation of wide technical issues beyond your own discipline. The Lead Mechanical Engineer should:
Be educated to degree level as a minimum
Be experienced in working within multidisciplinary design teams
Have indepth knowledge of British and American pipework design codes
Have knowledge of BIM and LOD100 to LOD400
Be experienced in pipework design and design substantiation in a highly regulated industry
It would also be beneficial if you have experience in the following:
Civil or Process Engineering
Onsite assessments and surveys
Fluid dynamics including HVAC for water and air systems
AutoCAD Inventor or MathCAD
Construction management
