About the Role:
GLG Vets is delighted to support an established veterinary practice in Liverpool Merseyside in their search for a dedicated Lead Veterinary Surgeon. As a key member of their team you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional veterinary care to patients while also mentoring and leading the clinical team.
Salary: 60000 to 65000 per year
FullTime: 40 hours per week (1 in 3 or 1 in 6 weekends)
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver highquality veterinary care to pets and animals in a variety of cases.
- Support and manage a team of veterinary professionals ensuring excellent standards are upheld.
- Build strong relationships with clients offering compassionate and professional service.
- Perform surgery diagnostics and treatments for a range of conditions.
- Contribute to the development of clinical protocols and continuous improvement.
- Lead by example providing guidance and support to junior colleagues.

Requirements:
- RCVS registered and ideally with previous leadership or senior veterinary experience.
- A passion for delivering exceptional care to animals and working as part of a dynamic team.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead by example.
- A commitment to continuing professional development (CPD).
