Adhere to and implement procurement policies and procedures
Monitor consumption patterns and manage slowmoving and nonmoving items proactively
Verify incoming goods issue supplies on authorized requests and maintain accurate inventory records
Perform regular inventory checks for quantity quality and expiration dates
Assist in carrying out periodic inventories of operating equipment
Support cost control objectives and maintain audit trails
Update management on supply issues and obtain specialist opinions when necessary
Ensure proper documentation for all received and outgoing goods
Maintain records for municipality and local authority requirements
Manage the secure storage and timely distribution of received products
Create credit notes and document returned hotel properties as needed
Update accounts payable with supporting documentation daily
Qualifications :
Previous experience in a similar role in a premium hotel required
Purchasing experience is a MUST
Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications and or relevant computer applications required
University/College degree in a related discipline preferred
Excellent administrative interpersonal written and verbal skills
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
Highly responsible & reliable with exceptional attention to detail
Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
Ability to focus attention on guest needs remaining calm and courteous at all times
