Job Description

Ensure the efficient and effective utilization of people and resources to meet delivery targets while
maintaining high quality and safety standards. Oversee team adherence to established manufacturing
procedures and ensure quality standards are met. Manage daily operations and support the team in
achieving operational objectives by identifying and implementing process improvement opportunities.

Maintain full compliance with 5S principles (Sort Set in Order Shine Standardize Sustain).
Monitor and support internal CNC programming and optimization efforts.
Drive new product development based on design drawings. Support product launches evaluate
technical feasibility and optimize designs.
Confirm
Develop a comprehensive roadmap from prototype sample development create Standard
Operating Procedures (SOPs) and prepare process flow charts.
Identify and resolve process gaps plan and install machinery and optimize shop and process
layouts based on materials and processes.
Design and select special cutting tools and fixtures providing troubleshooting support for
manufacturing processes.
Focus on machining optimization to reduce cycle times.
Monitor and enhance changeover and line setup effectiveness improving Overall Equipment
Efficiency (OEE).
Tool store management and maintenance.
Organize and prepare rough turning and preturning drawings.
Conduct root cause analysis and resolve processrelated issues.
Provide technical guidance to the team manage selfdevelopment and train operators on
products and processes.
Coordinate with data team & planning for routing corrections in SAP.
Create and follow up on Purchase Requests (PR).
Lead new vendor development to enhance capabilities and capacity.
Conduct risk assessments for processes and tasks with a strong focus on people management
and leadership.
Create Library of programs & advance programs for all parts and reduce redundancy on
programs inhouse programs.
Trouble shooting of process problems along with CFT team. (POC for Process issues.).
Coordinating with Global team for latest technology updating and implement best practices in
JC Bangalore. (POC for global & CPT for the process optimization).
Conduct SMED on Machines to identify NVA and derive actions and elimination of the Same.
Unification strategy/ Global standard implementation for all products aligned with Czech
Republic.
Drive SES through improvementsyellow belts Feasibilities standards SAP routing standards
Kaizens etc.
Simulation time updates in Master SAP data and calculation is inline with Global programing
standards.
New/Latest tooling trials & implementation to reduce the tooling cost by improving tool life.
Manufacturing Feasibility standardization to reduce 100% checks Support for Make or Buy
Decision.

Condition Monitoring of jaws for all CNC Machines.
Ensure & implement SOPs for all product processes and for all machines (Aligned to global
standards formats and processes).
Participate in RCAs for Nonconformities driving by quality with updates.
Drive RCA and implement actions for product nonconformities related to Process issues.
Actions executions & timely updates for process related losses to improve OEE (Lack of tool
Process Programs Jaws etc.).
Documentation & reporting of all improvement actions.
Attend scheduled meetings with all necessary updates and documentation on time.
Ensure adherence to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and meet deliverables.
Collaborate with support functions to define and implement processes procedures and
controls relevant to team activities. Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and work
crossfunctionally to maintain effective interfaces with other departments.
Provide feedback to management to share ideas for improving operations recommend and
support continuous improvement initiatives and optimize processes to enhance quality and
delivery in alignment with company and customer requirements.

Qualifications :

POSITION REQUIREMENTS (Technical Knowledge Skills and Abilities):
B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with 810 years OR Diploma in Mechanical
Engineering with 1014 years of management experience.
Exercise considerable initiative/judgement in work methods and in interpreting and delegating
work requirements/goals.
Knowledge of various Process based on Drawing Material & Hardness. Machining welding heat
treatment special process etc.
Must have demonstrated strong decisionmaking ability and strategic planning experience.
Must have thorough understanding of design drawing standards and Processes.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Collaboration analytical skills Proactive
thinking skills ability to effectively communicate with all levels of personnel and across
functional lines.
Requires excellent personal computing skills particularly competent in SAP Microsoft Office.
KEY COMPETENCIES:
Should possess strong knowledge and hands on experience of MAZAK CNC machines &
machining process GD&T and manufacturing feasibility assessments for makeorbuy
decisions. Demonstrated technical and analytical skills in interpreting drawings as well as
expertise in assembly tooling fixtures and various precision parts manufacturing
processes.
Knowledge & hands on experience on Mazatrol & Edgecam Programming Quality
Engineering and manufacturing standards.
Good understanding of customer deliverables and the impact of failure/cost of poor quality.
Solid understanding of all people related processes and procedures.
