Job Description

The Marketing Manager (MM) for RINVOQ (upadacitinib) will be responsible for numerous executional elements for the spondylarthritis (SpA) indication through Nonpersonal promotional (NPP) channels. The MM will coordinate across both internal and external stakeholders to enable an integrated executional plan. Strategic elements of the role will include everything from deep understanding of customer insights through engagement strategies to closedloop marketing. Key elements this person will be responsible for include leading the development and execution of the NPP Professional tactics to drive brand and disease awareness through a variety of channels including but not limited to website inoffice and digital communications. Partnering with other MMs across the Immunology franchise both US and International will be critical to ensure successful implementation of tactics for RINVOQ SpA.

This individual will report to the Associate Director Digital Rheumatology.

The responsibilities of this role are listed below but may shift based on launch needs.

  • 360 Degree Promotion.  Develop an NPP strategy to create a closedloop marketing environment around Professional customers that includes all channels including the salesforce. This person will execute key tactics in partnership with the agency and MRL partners. 
  • Executions of NPP tactics.  Partner with experts across AbbVie and agencies to ensure high quality tactics for the NPP campaign plan to support SpA.
  • Campaign optimization.  Identify areas to optimize campaign such as customer focus content adjustments channel mix and campaign engagement sequencing to improve customer engagement customer experience or volume/ROI and brand performance vs. competitive set.
  • Brand Identity and Campaign Development.    Contribute to the visual identity of the brand and work to develop and execute a creative campaign that is insightsdriven.
  • Finance ensure NPP/media stays within budget by partnering with Associate Director and other brand partners to maintain oversight throughout the year.

 


Qualifications :

Basic:

  • Bachelors degree in marketing or related field
  • 3 years of digital omnichannel marketing experience
  • Proven ability to complete work product ontime with excellence
  • Proven ability to work crossfunctionally
  • Pharmaceutical marketing experience
  • Excellent communication (oral written and presentation) and interpersonal skills
  • Strong planning and organization skills attention to detail execution and followthrough
  • Budget management experience

Preferred:

  • Prior experience in Professional pharmaceutical marketing
  • Pharmaceutical launch experience
  • Strategic and tactical planning experience
  • MBA or other advanced degree

Talent will be hired at a level commensurate with experience.

  • The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
