Roles and Responsibilities:
Infrastructure Automation:
- Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure using AWS services.
- CI/CD Pipelines:
- Build and maintain continuous integration and delivery pipelines to ensure efficient and seamless software delivery processes.
- Containerization:
- Develop and deploy containerized applications using Docker and orchestrate workloads as necessary.
- Version Control:
- Use Git and GitHub to manage repositories, branching strategies, and collaborative code workflows.
- Database Management:
- Administer and optimize MySQL databases to ensure consistent performance and high availability.
- System Monitoring and Maintenance:
- Set up monitoring tools such as CloudWatch or Prometheus to ensure system performance, troubleshoot issues, and maintain uptime.
- Collaboration and Best Practices:
- Work with cross-functional teams to integrate DevOps practices into the development lifecycle.
- Security and Compliance:
- Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineer role.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Git, GitHub, CI/CD tools, MySQL, and AWS services.
Skills:
Technical Skills:
- Containerization: Expertise in Docker for building and managing containers.
- Version Control: Proficient in Git and GitHub workflows.
- CI/CD Pipelines: Experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools.
- Cloud Services: In-depth knowledge of AWS services like EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS.
- Database Management: Experience with managing MySQL databases, backups, and query optimization.
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Team collaboration and time management skills.
