This position is for a new IP in addition to Dying Light and the fantasy game.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and optimize rendering performance. Optimize materials and draw calls
- Tweak parameters across different subsystems
- Create and manage materials throughout the project. Develop master materials. Ensure consistency and order in materials
- Create postprocesses
- Assist the art team in creating optimized assets. Develop asset guidelines
- Create various types of visual effects
- Collaborate with programmers
Qualifications :
Requirements:
- Strong proficiency in Unreal Engine 5 (UE5) focusing on rendering subsystems from a user perspective (materials Lumen Nanite shadows lighting Niagara landscape etc.)
- Experience working on console performance analysis
- Ability to create optimized materials
- General knowledge of rendering
- Basic scripting skills in Blueprints
Nice to Have:
- Ability to write shaders in UE
- Familiarity with C enough to read code
