Job Description
Position Summary:The QA (UW) review and evaluate work done by underwriter identify any error and share the feedback with the underwriter. QA (UW) auditor role includes but not limited to analyzing and verifying loan applications review of all 4 Cs evaluating risks identify any error and share the feedback with the underwriter.All 4 Cs underwriting (all loan types conventional Jumbo FHA VA)The incumbent ensures the accurate efficient and timely flow of information/documentation for offering quality and efficient services.Responsibilities: Audit conventional loan files to agency and investor guidelines Analyze credit income and assets on a loanbyloan basis to properly assess individual risk and identify any error and promptly share the feedback with the underwriter Review loan files as per agency and investor guidelines Analyze credit income and assets on a loanbyloan basis to properly assess individual risk and identify any red flag Review property documentation including title commitments sales contracts insurance and flood determinations Maintain a welldeveloped knowledge of loan product guidelines and industry regulations including assisting in the prevention detection and resolution of mortgage fraud Review and analyze appraisals for value and compliance with industry requirements Demonstrate the ability to independently make sound decisions based on the creditworthiness of the applicants based on established underwriting guidelines policies procedures knowledge and experience Assisting the other team members and solving queries Provide exceptional customer care (both internal and external) in a manner that satisfies the individual needs of each customer and builds loyalty to the client Maintain a welldeveloped knowledge of loan product guidelines and industry regulations including assisting in the prevention detection and resolution of mortgage fraud Review and analyze appraisals for value and compliance with industry requirements Demonstrate the ability to independently make sound decisions based on the creditworthiness of the applicants based on established underwriting guidelines policies procedures knowledge and experience Provide exceptional customer care (both internal and external) in a manner that satisfies the individual needs of each customer and builds loyalty to the client Maintain confidentiality of all customer and employee information Respond positively to feedback and redirection Fully utilize systems tools training and resources provided to maximize potential Assist other departments as needed Meeting daily production. Qualifications :
Qualifications Education: Bachelors in any stream.Experience: 3 years increasingly responsible experience in related areasKnowledge/Skills/Abilities: Experienced mortgage professional with 3 years expertise as loan auditor. All 4 Cs underwriting ( all loan types conventional Jumbo FHA VA) Has a complete understanding of underwriting guidelines. Has working knowledge of real estate lending criteria and federal state and agency compliance Can multitask and manage time efficiently Has strong organizational skills attention to detail and basic Microsoft Office skills Good analytical and problemsolving skills. Strong verbal and written communications skills. Highly adaptive and open to changes as the organization grows and its needs evolve.
