Job Description

Were seeking a talented individual to join our Transaction Tax Team in London which is responsible for Transaction tax and a wide range of tax and consulting services to a broad crosssection of clients.

You will be involved at the outset of a transaction and responsible for providing comprehensive advice to minimise the tax exposure considering all the business tax VAT international and employee issues as appropriate. Following the transaction you will be involved in proactively leveraging the opportunities and relationships identified on the deal to win postdeal and ongoing client work.

You will work with the wider Transactions Services team to support clients on the tax aspects of M&A and capital transactional activity together with support on the ongoing tax position for portfolio companies.

 

As Manager in Transactions Tax your responsibilities will include among others

  • Responsible for managing and delivering tax projects ensuring technical and commercial approach is taken with key client relationships.
  • Supporting on tax due diligence to include reviewing business for both existing and potential tax issues and tax structuring to help clients ensure their operations are structured efficiently.
  • Staff management and development including liaising with senior team members on projects and managing the delivery of projects and developing more junior staff members.
  • Business development activities and identifying and moving forwards with opportunities

Qualifications :

To be successful in this role you should have:

Key Experience/Skills:

  • Proficient in corporate tax gained within a professional services or legal environment.
  • Strong technical experience in M&A Tax Deals due diligence and tax structuring.
  • You will be and excellent communicator who is client driven and commerciallyminded
  • A collaborative team player with a flexible attitude

Education/Qualifications:

Qualified Accountant (ACA ACCA) and/or CTA (or breadth of knowledge equivalent to CTA e.g. law qualification)
