Designation: Jr DB2 Database Administrator
Budget: 610 LPA
Experience: 3 years.

L2 Interview Panel: Claudia and Micheal Bonilla (client)
Role: Jr. DB2 DBA Location: OFFshore
Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementation of single and multipartition db2 databases. Leverage of the DPF (Data Partition Feature) for parallel running at the OS level.
- Monitoring of db2 databases from the IBM DMC console and from the OS level.
- Maintenance on the database (reorg runstats)
- Design and Implementation of DR and HA solutions
- Backup and restore (online/offline) db2 databases
- Create comprehensive documentation of database configurations processes and procedures
- Database Upgrade and Patching
- Write Unix Script to automate the process
- DB2 Database Migration from onprem AIX to AWS EC2 RHEL including 100TB DB2 Data Warehouse work with IBM support team
- Installation Configuration and maintenance of DB2 database on AWS EC2 RHEL.
Required Skills:
- 3 years experience on production DB2 database management
- Knowledge on cross platform migration including from onprem AIX db2 PDOA system to AWS IBM DW system.
- Knowledge of the implementation and usage of the DB2 IBM DPF to leverage parallel processing across partitioned db2 nodes.
- Skills on database and queries performance monitoring and tuning
- Knowledge of Hadoop or/and Cloudera Hadoop
- Experience of managing DB2 database on AWS EC2 RHEL and AWS RDS is A plus
- Knowledge of AWS technologies Terraform code and Jenkins is A plus
- Experience of Oracle/Cassandra/PostgreSQL is A plus
