Job Description

The Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Consultant/Specialist Paediatrician to join a committed team in providing exceptional care for children and families in a vibrant community.

As a Consultant Paediatrician, you will:
  • Provide specialist care for infants, children, and adolescents in inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings.
  • Deliver high-quality clinical services and manage acute and chronic paediatric conditions.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including allied health professionals, to deliver holistic care.
  • Supervise and mentor junior medical staff and participate in teaching and training activities.
  • Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives in paediatric care.

To be successful in this role:
  • A medical degree registrable with the Medical Board of Australia.
  • Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) or equivalent, with specialist qualifications in Paediatrics.
  • Demonstrated clinical expertise in managing a wide range of paediatric conditions.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
  • A passion for delivering patient-cantered care in a regional setting.
