As a Consultant Anaesthetist, you will:

• Deliver safe, high-quality anaesthetic care across a variety of surgical specialties and settings.
• Lead and contribute to a multidisciplinary approach for patient care.
• Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to trainee medical officers and junior staff.
• Participate in quality improvement, clinical audits, and research initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with best practices and clinical safety standards.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• A primary medical degree registrable with the Medical Board of Australia.
• Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA) or equivalent specialist qualification (IMG s substantially comparable and those who meet the eligibility for the expedited pathway please apply).
• Demonstrated expertise in anaesthesia and perioperative medicine.
• Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
• A commitment to patient-centred care and continuous service improvement.
