Job Description
As a Senior Portfolio & Funding Manager you will play a crucial role within Group Treasury overseeing both short and longterm funding for the Vattenfall Group. This position offers an excellent opportunity to enhance your skills in funding and liquidity management supported by a team of experienced and skilled colleagues. Vattenfall Treasury is a group of specialists that trade a wide range of products. We are unique in Sweden in regards to our extensive asset and interest rate management.
Together with the team you will be working on:
- Longterm funding such as EMTN and hybrid bond issuance.
- Shortterm funding via ECPs and similar instruments.
- Maintenance of the Groups various funding programs including EMTN and the Green Financing Framework.
- Maintaining debt mandates such as duration and refinancing risk targets.
- Refinancing and maintaining the Groups credit facilities.
- Internal loan and financing processes for the Groups subsidiaries.
Other team responsibilities include:
- Liquidity management.
- Maintaining the Liquidity Risk Mandate.
- FX and IR risk management.
- Providing internal project support for financial risks.
- Participating in the upgrade and development of the Treasury system.
- Handling various adhoc Treasuryrelated projects.
- Actively contributing to the continuous improvement of Group Treasury.
- Building and maintaining close relationships with the Vattenfall Groups banks and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications :
Essential qualifications
- College/University degree in a relevant field.
- At least 35 years of experience in the corporate funding market either from banking or another corporate treasury.
- Technical and theoretical knowledge of the interest rate market interest rate derivatives and funding markets.
- Knowledge of financing frameworks such as EMTN ECP SLL/SLB and green financing.
- Fluency in Swedish and English.
Preferred qualifications
- System knowledge in Office 365 Bloomberg SAP and/or other treasury systems.
- Experience in VBA/PowerQuery/Power BI or other modelling systems.
- Experience with various trading platforms for IR/FX products.
You consider yourself an outstanding communicator with both external and internal stakeholders capable of establishing robust business relationships in both Swedish and English. You possess strong business acumen and exhibit excellent organizational skills while being flexible in handling the highly dynamic responsibilities of this position.
