About the Software and Control Systems team :
We design and build software for real products and devices. We work in multidisciplinary teams that specialise in developing these endtoend products and devices taking earlystage concepts through to complete product releases and even to small volume production line scaleup. Our worldclass development facilities are based just outside Cambridge take a tour of the office here.
As consultants its important to us that we deliver high quality software for our clients. We ensure this by focusing on agile methodologies such as TestDriven Development Continuous Integration systems & Pair Programming throughout our projects.

Software for Real Devices
We are experts in developing bestinclass embedded software and firmware for cuttingedge products and devices across many industries from small medical devices to large transport networks. For example we developed the Oakdoor diode to keep organisations safe from cyber attacks. We have been owrking with Ori Biotech to accelerate the development of affordable cell and gene therapies which is set to revolutionise the healthcare industry.
Cloud Integration and IoT Devices
We design and develop edgeprocessing software for embedded and baremetal IoT devices with cloudintegration as a key feature to create endtoend IoT solutions that have real business value. We work closely with our teams of digital engineers and data scientists to extract deeper insights from our data. We helped Water Source create a water purification system that can change the way people around the world access safe drinking water.
Advanced Image processing & Virtual Reality
We have expertise in highspeed image analysis and processing as well as building systems that capture interpret and use image data. We have built mixedreality digital twins to improve how operators visualise information and remotely control hazardous systems. Using Microsofts HoloLens we enhanced training modules for IMI Critical Engineering with augmented reality (AR) to give engineers a realworld experience of the products theyll be maintaining.

Qualifications :
As an experienced C Engineer youll be working within collaborative crossdisciplinary teams of software electronics mechanical engineers and scientists to build innovative solutions.
Excellent communication skills
Familiarity with the STL
Bare metal and/or Linux and real time OS
Knowledge or experience of a specific area of interest for example: embedded software sensors IoT medical devices robotics VR/AR
