Deputy General Manager

• Supporting the daytoday operations of the location including recruiting and selecting employees that meet the needs of the location and BaxterStorey
• Assessing employee performance recognising potential and meeting their training needs as appropriate
• Support to achieving financial targets agreed with the client within the budget and monitoring the work of the location team
• Holding regular team meetings to communicate targets required standards company and client information
• Supporting  the General Manager in developing and evolving client services at the location regularly making adjustments and improvements as needed
• Providing prompt and efficient customer service while consistently exceeding expectations
• Ensuring all food is presented and served in line within BaxterStoreys standards using innovation in the method and style of presentation and food service
• Assisting with recruiting appropriately skilled employees assessing their performance meeting their training needs including monitoring any poor performance and taking apparated step to rectify
• Supporting with all software systems
• Meeting statutory and company requirements in Health and Safety Food Safety and environmental legislation and procedures
• To consistently look at ways of maximizing income through effective purchasing from nominated suppliers and creative merchandising
• Maintain and  help deliver budgetary records and ensure that all budgets are adhered to unless exceptional circumstances
• Support to complete stock takes on a monthly basis and evaluate and calculate the cost of sales results

Qualifications :

• Previous experience commensurate with role
• Have a contagious passion for food and customer service
• You draw satisfaction from managing training and supporting a team
• Financially astute you are very analytical and know how to create and maintain budgets and drive commercial performance 
• Excellent delegation and influencing skills
• Ability to prioritise multiple projects in a fastpaced multifaceted creative environment and able to work well under pressure
• Meticulous organisational abilities; high attention to detail
• Concise and effective verbal and written communication
• Ability to adapt to challenges and opportunities with a solutionoriented perspective
• Excellent strategic thinking and critical reasoning skills
• Works according to the BaxterStorey core values
