Job Description

JOB PURPOSE:

  • Responsible for Finance functions including but not limited to: preparation of financial data monitoring of financial performance compliance to Finance policies monitoring of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable and staff supervision. Provide valueadded and meaningful reporting and analysis for Financial Management.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • To ensure complete and accurate postings of financial records this role is responsible to perform the following tasks:
  • Reconciliation of revenue transactions on a daily basis.
  • Set off sales collections on a daily basis.
  • Perform checks on sales documents and liaise with Commercial teams.
  • Liaise with various departments on sales and refunds transactions.
  • Monitor for accuracy and compliance in accordance to accounting standards. Rectification of General Ledger errors during closing to ensure accuracy of reporting.
  • To present valuable financial performance report for the business this role is responsible to perform the following tasks:
  • Analyze and submit monthly cost center reports for review to senior management and respective cost centers.
  • Regularly review the financial ledger for Accounts Receivable Accounts Payable and General Ledger.
  • Regularly review the department financial objectives plans policies and procedures and recommend appropriate changes if needed.
  • Support auditors during annual/quarterly audit to ensure full audit compliance.
  • To support new business system and finance processes this role will be responsible to liaise with business and IT on projects to ensure all finance matters are streamlined.
  • Provide support to Holidays finance team in other finance tasks as and when required.
  • Perform other department duties related to his / her position as directed by the Head of the Department
