Job Description

We are seeking a detailoriented and motivated Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team in ibis Hotel Amman Jordan. As a Housekeeping Supervisor you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction in our hotel. This position requires a professional who can effectively lead a team manage daily operations and ensure exceptional service delivery.

  • Oversee and coordinate daily housekeeping operations ensuring rooms and public areas meet our high cleanliness standards
  • Lead train and motivate a team of housekeeping staff to deliver exceptional service
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to maintain quality standards
  • Manage inventory order supplies and maintain par levels for housekeeping materials
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth hotel operations and guest satisfaction
  • Address and resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally
  • Implement and maintain safety and security procedures within the housekeeping department
  • Assist in creating work schedules and assigning tasks to team members
  • Participate in the recruitment and evaluation of housekeeping staff
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies procedures and industry standards
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative housekeeping practices

Qualifications :

  • 23 years of experience in housekeeping roles within a hotel environment
  • Previous supervisory experience in a similar setting
  • Diploma in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
  • Proven ability to lead motivate and develop a team
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for creating memorable guest experiences
  • Proficiency in inventory management and supply ordering
  • Knowledge of housekeeping best practices and safety standards
  • High standard of personal hygiene grooming and presentation
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Familiarity with hotel management software is a plus
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is an advantage
