We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Newham to assist with the appointment of an AntiSocial Behaviour and Nuisance Investigator on a 3month contract likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: 20.58 25.98 per Hour
Responsibilities:
- To be responsible for the effective investigation management and resolution of harassment hate crime antisocial behaviour and nuisance cases.
- To resolve cases of antisocial behaviour and nuisance using a range of tools and leading to stepped up enforcement action including prosecution and injunctions working with the councils legal officers in accordance with Community Safety ASB procedures and Council policy.
- Maintain a high level of technical and legislative knowledge in the area of ASB noise and nuisance.
- To undertake consistent proportionate targeted accountable and transparent enforcement action including the professional assessment of statutory nuisances the drafting and service of statutory notices.
- Respond to investigate and resolve service requests relating to ASB and noise nuisance outside of normal office hours in line with published service standards.
Requirements:
- Knowledge and understanding of local government service provision and experience of multiagency and partnership working and liaison.
- Experience of dealing with crime and/or antisocial behaviour/noise casework including assessment of complaints investigation and collation of legal files.
- Experience in compiling files of evidence for all court arenas including attending court to provide evidence
