Summary:
An experienced System Analyst with expertise in public higher education administration information technology issues. The analyst will handle various responsibilities within the Information Technology department.
Required Education:
- Bachelors Degree: Computer Science Information Technology Management Information Systems or a related field.
Preferred Certifications:
- CompTIA IT Fundamentals (ITF)
- Certified Information Systems Analyst (CISA)
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience as a Systems Analyst or in a similar role is highly valued
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages (e.g. SQL Java Python) and familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities to evaluate and design efficient systems
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with stakeholders and IT teams
- Project Management: Experience with project management methodologies and tools
- Knowledge of IT Infrastructure: Understanding of system architecture databases and IT infrastructure
- Continuous Learning: Staying updated on emerging technologies and industry trends
Roles / Responsibilities:
- Project Management Support: Provide project management support for TSUs Jaggaer implementation.
- Ongoing Support and Maintenance: Offer ongoing support and maintenance of Jaggaer including workflows.
- Training Management: Manage and oversee training for Banner Finance and Jaggaer.
- Queue Maintenance: Maintain and support all existing queues used outside of procurement.
- Module Support: Support all Banner Finance related modules.
- YearEnd Process Review: Review and revise the yearend closing process schedule with approval from all affected areas including HR.
- Upgrade and Testing Support: Assist the OIT team with upgrades testing and vendor support as needed.
- Industry Knowledge: Stay knowledgeable on industry changes and provide recommended system enhancements accordingly.
