Job Description

Our client is a leading Facility Management Company in Qatar which specializes in providing customized facility solutions and services to a diverse range of industries. They are looking to hire a Health Care Soft Services Manager to lead their team of professionals in Doha.

The Health Care Services Manager is responsible for managing implementing and overseeing operational and soft services within healthcare facility management. This role ensures that all staff including housekeeping operatives supervisors site managers and office personnel operate effectively meeting contractual obligations and maintaining high standards of service delivery and client satisfaction. The role focuses on leadership compliance operational efficiency and fostering professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead the companys housekeeping and other allocated healthcare projects.
  • Develop implement and manage the annual service plan and budget for hospital sites ensuring operational contract requirements are met and project costs are optimized.
  • Establish and maintain strong client relationships addressing operational needs and daytoday coordination.
  • Analyze operational data to identify continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Oversee the implementation and adherence to company policies and procedures across the division.
  • Coordinate with clients and the finance department on project mobilization and financial matters.
  • Ensure all aspects of soft services operations (housekeeping waste management) within the healthcare division are planned organized and controlled to meet contractual and quality standards.
  • Oversee and manage operational costs including manpower materials machinery and other related expenses.
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to division members ensuring operational excellence and accountability.
  • Ensure compliance with Qatari laws and company standards regarding health safety and labor practices.
  • Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions to maintain or exceed contractual service levels.
  • Coordinate with procurement for purchasing materials and machinery to ensure smooth operational flow.
  • Implement and supervise hospital cleaning processes and procedures to maintain service excellence.
  • Collaborate with project managers and internal teams to support health and safety training and purchasing requirements.
  • Demonstrate leadership and increasing responsibility in soft services management.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of housekeeping waste management and soft service operations within healthcare or similar environments.
  • Ensure understanding of productivity metrics best practices and accreditation standards (e.g. JCI).
  • Address operational concerns with HR and executive management to ensure compliance with service agreements.
  • Prepare and analyze KPI reports recommending improvements as necessary.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as required within the healthcare services domain.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree preferably in Hotel Management Hospitality or related fields.
  • English literacy certificate CEFR B2 level or higher.
  • Proficiency in computer skills (MS Office: Excel PowerPoint Word).
  • Certification in BICSc (British Institute of Cleaning Science).
  • Training in Fire and Safety Environmental Safety and Infection Control.
  • Hospitality training (WOW WOS and Take the Lead).
  • Experience in risk assessment risk management and environmental impact assessment.
  • Proven 810 years of experience in similar roles preferably in healthcare facility management.
  • Experience in project management and personnel supervision.
  • Facility management experience with the ability to lead and motivate diverse teams.
  • Strong reportwriting audit and presentation skills.
  • Ability to conduct training orientations and investigations.
  • Effective communicator at all organizational levels.
