- Oversee food preparation and meal service for the prep school and nursery
- Lead and manage a small team of 46 staff
- Ensure high standards of food quality hygiene and health and safety are maintained
- Plan and develop menus that meet the needs of students and staff
- Manage stock control and order supplies as needed
- Control food budgets and ensure costeffective operations
- Ensure meals are nutritious balanced and cater to dietary requirements
- Monitor and maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization
- Maintain a positive collaborative working environment within the kitchen team
Qualifications :
- Experience in a similar chef or kitchen management role
- Level 3 Food Safety & Hygiene certification (or equivalent)
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of dietary requirements and allergen management
- Excellent organizational and timemanagement abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain)
- Passion for quality food and a commitment to high standards of service
