Job Description

What a Manager Account Executive does at Visa:

The successful candidate for this position will be a member of Sales team responsible for Visas business with a number of clients in Korea through relationship management and sales disciplines. Extensive knowledge of payments combined with a passion for digital innovations alongside strong communication and project management skills are key elements to success in this role.

  • Manage key business lines with the partner to ensure that Visa is the payment provider of choice while profitably growing Visas business with the client.
  • Drive superior engagement with clients while also overseeing the daytoday aspects across the business functions.
  • Utilize a consultative sales approach that ensures Visa is familiar with the strategies and issues of the client and tailor Visas engagement to address those needs.
  • Facilitate the development of account plans and drive quality engagements in collaboration with key stakeholders to deliver on these plans.
  • Assist the client in meeting their business objectives and maximizing the performance of their Visa portfolio.
  • Be astute with financial forecasting and attuned to various dynamics that affect client and Visa business performance.
  • Work with the client to ensure their contractual targets and obligations are met or exceeded.
  • Manage contract milestones via delivery of proactive and comprehensive proposals for extension and renewal of contracts ahead of expiry.

The Manager Account Executive plays a critical role in delivering Visas services to clients and responsible for client relationships in Korea. The individual will manage our inmarket team to meet client needs by bringing the best of Visa locally regionally and globally.

The Manager Account Executive must be able to set a strategic vision and expertly translate strategy to execution and foster high quality relationships with key stakeholders. Collaboration will be critical in building support for crossfunctional teams.


Qualifications :

What you will need:

At least 7 years of proven sales and relationship management with expertise in the payments and financial services industry.
Strong track record of account management strategy development and execution.
Indepth understanding of local market context of payments banking and financial services retail and other key industries that impact Visas Business.
Ability to adapt to market needs and lead change management in an evolving environment.
Communication skills with internal including AP regional teams and external stakeholders to influence executive decision making.
