Job Description
What Youll Do:
- Provide HandsOn Care: Assist individuals with daily activities like personal care meal prep and transportation all while fostering independence.
- Support Mental Health & Behavioral Management: Utilize your skills to help individuals overcome behavioral challenges offering compassionate personcentered care.
- Create a Safe & Welcoming Environment: Maintain a clean safe space that ensures comfort and support while helping individuals reach their personal goals.
- Mentor & Guide: Provide supervision positive reinforcement and guidance to help individuals achieve their aspirations.
Qualifications :
What You Bring to the Table:
- At least 2 years of experience working with individuals who have challenging behaviors such as physical or verbal aggression property destruction or selfinjury.
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or GED
- Passion for Helping Others: Experience with mental health conditions (e.g. bipolar disorder schizophrenia depression anxiety) is a plus.
- Physical stamina to stay on your feet walk stand and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
- Basic computer skills for tracking progress and documentation.
