Job Title: Applied AI Software Engineer
Experience: 5 to 8 Years
Who We Need: We are seeking a software engineer with expertise in AI and LLMs (Large Language Models) focusing on software engineering rather than pure data science. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about building reusable components and enthusiastic about tackling experimental unsolved problems.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement AI/ML solutions for data extraction particularly from unstructured formats like PDFs and Word documents.
Design and engineer modular scalable and reusable software components.
Evaluate integrate and optimize commercial AI solutions into workflows.
Conduct experimentation and feasibility analysis for cuttingedge AI solutions.
Collaborate crossfunctionally to align technical solutions with business needs.
Challenge assumptions and critically assess problem scope and solution methodologies.
What Were Looking For:
Strong expertise in AI/ML with a focus on unstructured data processing.
Experience in building workflows involving LLMs and related technologies.
Proficiency in software engineering principles including modular design and scalability.
A pragmatic and experimental mindset to balance innovation with practical implementation.
Ability to critically evaluate assumptions and propose alternative solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with tools and frameworks like TensorFlow PyTorch Hugging Face or similar.
Experience in natural language processing (NLP) techniques and libraries.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python Java or C.
Knowledge of cloud services (e.g. AWS Azure or Google Cloud) for AI/ML deployment.
