Position: Senior Design Construction Manager

We are currently engaged with an esteemed healthcare client in the Napa CA region seeking a Senior Design Construction Manager to lead a critical component of their business.

Job Overview:

As the Senior Design Construction Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the entire construction process from conception to completion. You will work closely with our clients architects engineers and construction teams to ensure that all projects are delivered to the highest standards of quality safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the design and construction teams to ensure timely and successful project delivery

Develop and maintain project schedules budgets and resources

Review and approve all project plans designs and specifications

Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress identify and resolve any issues and ensure compliance with all safety regulations

Communicate effectively with clients stakeholders and team members to provide updates on project status and address any concerns

Manage and negotiate contracts with subcontractors suppliers and vendors

Ensure that all projects are completed within budget and on schedule while maintaining the highest level of quality

Continuously evaluate and improve construction processes and procedures to increase efficiency and productivity

Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members

Keep uptodate with industry trends regulations and best practices

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Construction Management Civil Engineering or a related field

Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management with at least 5 years in a senior role

Extensive knowledge of construction processes techniques and materials

Strong project management skills including budgeting scheduling and resource management

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to read and interpret blueprints drawings and specifications

Familiarity with construction software and tools such as AutoCAD Procore and Microsoft Project

Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously

Strong leadership and team management skills

Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality and safety

Valid drivers license and ability to travel to project sites as needed
