Job Description
A cutting edge Mechanical Engineer opportunity has arisen with a worldwide market leading multinational engineering company working with clients in the automotive aerospace renewable scientific pharmaceutical electronics oil and gas and food processing industries Were working alongside this global leader in automation technology who are creating innovative solutions that power everything from electric vehicles to semiconductor manufacturing.
The Role
As a Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer youll work alongside experienced engineers to develop custom automation solutions. Youll gain handson experience with product design testing and technical support while building your expertise in international standards and manufacturing processes.
Essential Requirements of the Mechanical Engineer:
- Ideally you will be degree qualified with a MEng or BEng in Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering degree
- Understanding of basic Electrical principles
- Experience with 3D modelling software (preferably SolidWorks)
- Good communication skills
- Team player with ability to work independently
- Knowledge of electropneumatic control systems
Would be great but not essential:
- Any experience with jigs fixtures or machine design
- Placement year or internship experience
