What Youll Do:
- Manages localization projects from beginning to end working closely with language specialists localization engineers product management and development internal business partners external vendors and other departments.
- Develops project plans and workflows managing time budget resources and quality control.
- Analyzes location project risk and defines mitigation actions of identified risks.
- Assigns monitors and measures project team members work. Manages teams compliance with standards practices and policies.
- Directs teams deliveries to timelines and product quality including responsiveness and professionalism toward both internal and external clients.
- Leads project/client/business partner meetings and conference calls including project kickoff meetings weekly and adhoc.
- Establishes and maintains excellent relationships with contract translators and proofreaders globally.
- Continually expands knowledge and education in localization trends and news.
- Preparation and maintenance of project documentation.
- Maintaining healthy relationships with the clients through healthy communication.
What You Bring to the Table:
- At least 2 years of experience as a Project Manager at a Translation company.
- Linguistic educational background is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Excellent presentation/communication skills with the ability to present the localization lifecycle to clients.
- Organizational and leadership skills.
- Proven abilities in project planning resource and risk management.
- Problemsolving capabilities.
- Detail orientation with the ability to multitask.
- Strong team player in a multilanguage/multicultural environment.
- Selfstarter and proactive.
- Knowledge and eagerness to learn and identify new technologies and new tools.
