Job Description
Oaks Gladstone Grand Hotel are currently looking for a Chef to join our team at our Oak and Vine Restaurant Gladstone restaurant on a Full time basis.
- Hourly Rate: From $27.17p/h $29.64p/h Penalties Super (Pending Experience)

Key Responsibilities Include:
- Prepare and cook high quality foo
- Supervise and train kitchen staff
- Assisting in creating menu items recipes and developing dishes
- Helping to create good communication between FOH and BOH
- Keep the kitchen organized and clean
Qualifications :
To be successful in this role you will need to:
- Hold relevant cookery qualifications and/ or previous experience in a similar role.
- Have knowledge and understanding of HACCP and OH&S
- Be flexible to work a range of different shifts including weekends.
- Be able to work under pressure within a dynamic team environment.
- Be able to coach and motivate less experienced members of the kitchen team.
- Be selfmotivated and able to work without supervision.
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
