Job Description
- Design and detailing of various faade systems and cladding types involving different materials and systems to meet the complex facade demands of the project.
- Develop the 3D faade BIM models in detail from system drawings and collaborate in all stages of the project with other disciplines interfacing with faade such as Architectural MEP Structural and Landscaping etc.
- Ensure accurate placement and sizing of faade components and required faade zones and work with the relevant disciplines to resolve clashes.
- Develop all level of details from LOD 100 to LOD 350.
- Implement quality assurance in BIM models for accuracy buildability and adherence to Architectural intent and geometry.
- Implement a BIM Execution Plan as required for any project.
- Report to Design Team Leader to support all project stages including design development and documentation.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation throughout various project phases.
- Provide proactive problemsolving and demonstrate initiative to address design challenges effectively.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
Qualifications :
- Excellent communication organizational and problemsolving skills. Selfmotivated proactive and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or Architecture.
- Minimum of 5 years handson experience in detailing modeling clash detection and documenting facade projects with advance to expert proficiency in AutoCAD Tekla Revit Rhino Grasshopper and similar modeling tools. Coding experience would be an advantage.
- Experience in parametric design and faade rationalization is a plus.
- Experience in collaborative design with team members across different disciplines from conceptual schematic detailed design to IFC.
- Must have implemented successfully a BIM Execution Plan for medium to large projects. UAE and international experience are essential.
- Strong knowledge of facade systems and materials and understanding of relevant codes and standards.
