Roles and responsibilities
Act as a business partner who will be responsible to attend business client requirements with business mindset to understand and grasp the core business needs. Lead the business demands internally within the IT department till the approval. Further, act as a governance PMO who will ensure with PMs compliance to PMO framework, providing them all necessary standard documents templates and ensuring projects are moving on-track highlighting any possible risks with their mitigations. Also, provide an adequate reporting to IT leadership whether projects are meeting expected outcomes and deliverables, reporting progress, schedules and deadliness.
Key Accountabilities:
- Responsible to address business demands and requests, discuss with business, understand their needs associated with business mindset and high communication skills.
- Responsible for developing project objectives and scopes, involving all relevant stakeholders and also ensuring technical feasibility of the project.
- Coordinate with the Vendor, Project Managers to discuss and develop ideas on the demand received from the customer.
- Managing the available resources and seeing to it that the project is executed on time.
- Assign tasks to each member of the project team according to their strengths, and to make sure the team members understand the business objectives and execute the project in line with the organization’s objectives.
- Understand the project scope and requirements to develop the business plans into project and look after executing the projects.
- Ensure that the project team is provided with the relevant resources needed for the efficient and timely execution of the projects.
- Communicating with the project team to be in the know of current progress of each individual and/or group projects, updating the top management on the progress of each project and getting feedback from them.
- Perform risk management analysis in order to minimize project risk and maintain the documentation properly.
- Establishes quantitative and qualitative measurement of benefits and means for tracking to enhance evaluation of project scope on the front end and ensure project goals are reached on the back end.
- Ensures that projects are delivered timely to the customers as per Ma’aden policies and procedures.
Desired candidate profile
- Bachelor level degree in IT or Business Administration from an internationally recognized institution.
- Certification in Project Management
Minimum Experience:
- 4 - 6 years of relevant experience in IT Project Management.
Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal skills for interacting with staff, clients, and upper management.
- Excellent communication skills for communicating with support personnel and management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent writing skills when dealing with colleagues within the department, across Ma’aden, and any external contacts.
