Job Opportunity: Vice President – FI Credit
Position Details:
Title: Vice President – FI Credit
Reporting to: Executive Vice President
Team: FI – Credit
Locations: Chennai / Bangalore / Mumbai
Role Overview:
We are hiring for a senior role in the FI Credit team of a leading financial institution. The organization supports debt raising for microfinance institutions retail NBFCs and housing finance companies through its innovative credit solutions. The team plays a critical role in providing technical expertise during the due diligence and onboarding of clients and assessing their ongoing financial and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct quarterly financial operational and portfolio reviews of financial partners and prepare credit notes with recommendations for credit exposure.
Perform indepth assessments of corporate governance financial position operational controls and credit underwriting.
Benchmark and analyze sectoral operational drivers to become a sector expert.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely execution of transactions.
Visit clients to evaluate groundlevel operational risks and identify early warning signals.
Stay updated on regulatory and macroeconomic developments impacting the sector.
Qualifications & Experience:
Chartered Accountant (preferably 1st attempt) or MBA from a tier I/II business school.
1113 years of relevant experience in the financial sector preferably in banking nonbanking finance or credit rating agencies.
Required Skills:
Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
Excellent time management and the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively under pressure.
Proficient in English with excellent communication skills.
Reliable adaptable and selfmotivated professional with a collaborative approach.
