Strategic and Operational Expertise

• Experienced in developing robust financial models and performance metrics that align with the companys vision and enable datadriven decisions.
  
• Skilled in establishing and refining financial processes to achieve bestinclass operational efficiency particularly through the strategic use of technology.
  
• Familiar with compliance in regulated markets ideally within African jurisdictions to ensure seamless adherence to financial reporting and regulatory requirements.
  

• Extensive background in financial services or payments ideally within Africa to bring valuable insights that directly inform product and market strategies.
  
• A clear understanding of fintech trends and challenges particularly in crossborder payments and remittances to help refine product offerings and support the company s growth goals.
  
• Ability to align financial strategies with customer value championing transparency and affordability in pricing crucial for building trust in the fintech space.
  

• Experience in working crossfunctionally with other departments fostering a culture of partnership and collaboration within the executive team.

Requirements

What it takes to succeed:

• A qualified accountant with 8 years of postqualification experience ideally within fastpaced financial services or FinTech environments.
  
• Experience in highgrowth entrepreneurial roles where they contributed significantly to financial strategy and supported the company s scaling efforts.
  
• Capable of overseeing both daily financial operations and longterm planning ideally having worked in companies where they helped establish scalable finance functions.
  
• Proven ability to implement technologydriven solutions to drive financial efficiency demonstrating a passion for continuous improvement and innovation.
