Job Description

The role in a nutshell: This Team Leader role oversees a team of assessors/interviewers within a highvolume hiring function. The mission is to drive improvements in recruitment processes ensuring the consistent application of assessment tools and highquality metricdriven team performance. This handson role requires identifying and implementing process improvements streamlining the candidate journey and providing daytoday leadership and support.

Youll report to: Resourcing Manager

Location: Within a commutable distance of Nottingham as 2/3 days in office a week.

The Role

As the Talent Acquisition Assessment Team Leader youll be responsible for overseeing a team of Assessment Specialists ensuring the highest standards of candidate assessment and evaluation in a highvolume setting. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in regulated or customerfocused environments particularly contact centres and understands the importance of an agents early career phase.

In this role youll be the goto for process quality and consistency making regular audits part of the routine to ensure accuracy and fairness. Youll also lead with a metricsdriven approach analysing team performance driving improvement in the hiring funnel and implementing databacked recommendations for both tools and processes.

What youll be doing

  • Inspiring and empowering a team of Assessment Specialists in endtoend recruitment.
  • Setting clear goals and performance expectations ensuring high standards.
  • Managing quality control through audits and consistent application of assessment tools.
  • Evaluating and recommending new tools and technologies to advance hiring practices.
  • Presenting actionable insights to stakeholders and managing resources to hit team targets.

The skills and experience youll need

Your background

Were looking for a recruitment professional experienced in highvolume hiring ideally with a background in regulated settings like financial services or sales. You should be proactive detailoriented and able to thrive in fastpaced customerdriven environments.

Ideal experience

  • Proven recruitment experience in a highvolume environment with a strong understanding of regulated contact centres.
  • Practical understanding of operational demands particularly in supporting agents through their first 13 weeks.
  • Familiarity with quality control measures audits and metricsbased improvements in recruitment.
  • Strong communication leadership and project management skills.
  • A growthoriented mindset with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
