Job Description
We are are looking for a Team Manager to support a dynamic and committed team of Social Workers within the Children with Disabilities Team. Within you role you will be responsible for supporting a team of 6 Social Workers ranging from ASYEs to Advanced Practitioners.
- We know that many of you will not have considered working for Children with Disabilities (CWD) before thinking you may not have the right skills knowledge or experience. Others may think the work is mundane or less dynamic than other areas of social work theyre wrong! For a start the work itself is fascinating varied and rewarding. Heres what one of our team had to say about it:
- Even if you looked for a job elsewhere it would still be CWD. I love the complexity. You have to work harder to understand what is happening for children you have to be more creative and think outside the box to get the best outcomes for children with additional needs.
- The Children with Disabilities Team covers all elements of Social Work and therefore whilst experience within CWD is desirable it is not essential. There is a stable management team who will help you have all the information you need.
