Job Description

Bank Night Care Practitioner. Ribble Court Care Home

  • £11.61 per hour
  • Shifts: 8pm8am

Our beautiful 53bed Ribble Court Care Home opened two years ago features stateoftheart facilities including a bistro hair salon dedicated dining and lounge areas and landscaped gardens. This modern setting provides a comfortable uplifting environment supported by advanced care planning and nursecall technology.

At Ribble Court we offer specialized complex nursing and residential dementia care across dedicated floors providing personcentered care tailored to each resident's unique needs and preferences.

As a Bank Night Care Practitioner your responsibilities will include:

  • Undertaking all required training to enhance your skills
  • Supporting residents with nighttime personal care including bathing toileting and dressing assistance
  • Conducting regular checks on residents to ensure their comfort safety and wellbeing throughout the night
  • Assisting residents with repositioning to maintain comfort and prevent pressure sores
  • Documenting care activities and reporting any health concerns or incidents
  • Administering medication where required following proper procedures and training
  • Providing companionship emotional support and reassurance during the night
  • Preparing residents for the day including morning hygiene routines
  • Working closely with the team to maintain a safe clean and supportive environment for residents

*Overtime is paid for working over fulltime hours. Free meals are given if working over an 8 hour shift and are subject to terms and conditions. Discounts are accessed using our ‘Reward Me’ app. Flexible pay is available via ‘WAGESTREAM’. Advertised pay rates are for shifts worked from 1st April 2023.
