Job Description

Childrens Residential Child Care Worker Childrens Residential Home

Salary :11.90 per hour plus 60 sleep in rate (2on 4off shift pattern)

Locations: Southport Skelmersdale Rainford Tarleton Garstang Leyland Aughton

Exceptional care are seeking individuals to support young people on a 1:1 or 2:1 staffing ratio in a Residential setting.

Tasks

Your role as a Residential Child Care Worker:

You will have the opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of children and young people and help towards the bright future they deserve; attending to their practical physical and emotional needs. Safeguarding each young person at all times.

You will provide a high standard of care and support in a professional manner to vulnerable young people with challenging behaviour and emotional behavioural difficulties.

You will develop a good working relationship with both children and young people and other outside agencies and be the person that each child can trust through building positive relationships.

You will be part of a team who work together to create a loving stable environment to ensure each young person is achieving positive outcomes and learning experiences.

Requirements

  • Level 3 or 4 Children and Young Peoples Workforce or equivalent or willing to work towards
  • 1 years experience supporting young people in a childrens residential setting
  • Full UK Manual Driving Licence preferred
