Job Description

Care Practitioner Day Shifts. Telford Hall Care Home

  • Pay Rate: £11.51 per hour
  • Night Shifts: 4 days per week
  • Shifts: 7am7pm

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Lawley Telford Hall is a modern 66bed nursing home offering outstanding facilities including a salon serene lounges garden rooms a cinema and a tea room. We specialize in nursing palliative and dementia care fostering a homelike environment that enhances the quality of life for our residents. Our dedicated team is guided by experienced leadership and supported by a strong sense of community enabling us to deliver compassionate personcentered care.

Responsibilities as a Day Care Practitioner

In this vital role you will provide highquality care and support to our residents during the nighttime hours. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting residents with personal care including hygiene dressing and mobility support ensuring their dignity and comfort.
  • Supporting residents with meals and hydration ensuring their dietary needs are met.
  • Promoting resident engagement by encouraging participation in activities and social interaction.
  • Monitoring residents’ health and wellbeing promptly addressing any changes or concerns.
  • Providing emotional support and companionship to create a warm welcoming atmosphere.
  • Documenting care activities accurately and maintaining clear communication with team members.
  • Ensuring a clean safe and nurturing environment for residents and colleagues.
  • Participating in ongoing training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.

*Overtime is paid for working over full time hours. However overtime enhancement will not feature on your contract of employment and can be withdrawn at any time as managers decision is final. Free meals are given if working over an 8 hour shift and are subject to terms and conditions. Discounts are accessed using our ‘Reward Me’ app. Flexible pay is available via ‘WAGESTREAM’.
