Job Description
- Oversee the operational systems of the Digital Hub including applications systems networks telecommunications and office automation services.
- Design architect implement and manage IT infrastructure solutions covering systems storage network and telecommunications components ensuring they meet business requirements and align with the Digital Hub s architecture and standards.
- Design enterprisewide solutions for systems storage virtualization cloud computing networking and telecommunications to fulfill business requirements.
- Define the requirements for IT infrastructure solutions and conduct a thorough evaluation to select the most suitable architecture technologies systems storage network and telecommunications components and services that best align with these requirements.
- Assess current and future capacity needs and develop plans to support continuous growth and evolution.
- Oversee operational support for IT services ensuring that support provided aligns with agreedupon SLAs.
- Track and manage the resolution of security alerts and threats to the system.
- Introduce process improvements or reengineering initiatives to enhance operations and support activities.
- Ensure that support and operational activities are thoroughly documented.
- Regularly review and improve standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with the vendor management team to ensure the timely provision of support and effective execution of change requests by vendors.
- Ensure that all systems and applications in production have defined SLAs with the vendors.
- Ensure business users are satisfied with the products and services provided.
- Contribute to the development of the annual operational and budgetary plan for product support and maintenance.
- Identify potential operational issues and propose corrective actions.
- Support and lead team members and leaders as needed on technical matters.
- Bring continuous improvement opportunities to the attention of management.
Requirements
- At least Bachelor Degree in Information Technology Computer Science or any related field.
- A minimum of 4 to 6 years experience in IT field.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing IT infrastructure solutions.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components including system network storage virtualization and cloud computing.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to proactively identify operational issues and corrective actions.
