QA Lead

We are searching for a seasoned QA Lead to play a pivotal role in ensuring our products quality reliability and performance. Youll lead a talented team of manual and automated testers. Your expertise will guide our product to excellence ensuring a seamless experience for our users.


Requirements

• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Deep understanding of scripting languages Typescript and JS
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
• Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple priorities.
• Familiarity with SaaSspecific challenges and cloud technologies.
• Understanding of system architectures (APIs servers components coms auths etc)
• Understanding of the practical application of different automation test scenarios (frontend/web app testing techniques)
• Obsessive attention to pixel perfectness UI UX etc
• You must possess one of the following certificates: CMST CMSQ CTALTM CTELTMMTT CTELTMOTM CTELTMSM
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in software quality assurance
• Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a QA lead or similar role preferably in a SaaS company.
• Handson experience with both manual and automated testing.
• Good knowledge of test case management tools (XRay TestRail)
• Familiarity with automation tools such as Playwright Lighthouse Selenium Appium JUnit TestNG etc.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and processes.
• Proficiency in QA methodologies tools and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Testing Strategy & Implementation:

Define establish and document manual and automated QA processes and policies.
Research define and implement test strategies suitable for a fastpaced SaaS environment.
Deep understanding of the product to anticipate different outcomes related to the development process and proactively establish testing policies to validate these changes.
Oversee the testing teams during the creation of detailed comprehensive and wellstructured test plans and test cases. Support the execution of these plans
Oversee the efforts of Automated QAs
Collaborate with the product and development teams to ensure alignment on quality benchmarks.
Ensure KPIs on application speed stability and security
Ensure QA Kpis are systematically reached and surpassed

Leadership & Team Management:
Lead mentored and grew a team of manual and automated testers demonstrating a handson approach.
Assign tasks monitor workload and ensure timely completion of testing cycles.
Conduct performance reviews facilitate training and assist in hiring new team members.

Automated Testing:
Champion and oversee the implementation and maintenance of test automation frameworks with the automation testers (including clientside performance tests speed etc).
Integrate QA processes with CI/CD pipelines ensuring automated tests run during deployments.
Oversee performance testing
Monitor automated tests analyze failures and ensure timely bug fixes.

Manual Testing Oversight:
Direct manual testing efforts ensuring all features are thoroughly tested by the manual testers.
Ensure that the team effectively logs tracks and communicates defects.
Foster an environment where testers actively discuss challenges and collaborate on solutions.

Stakeholder Communication:
Act as the primary point of contact for all QA matters.
Regularly update stakeholders on QA progress risks and results.
Participate in release decisions providing insights from a quality perspective.

Continuous Improvement:
Analyze metrics feedback and market trends to continuously improve testing strategies.
Drive innovations in QA tools processes and best practices.
